Precautions for the set of fiber laser cutting machines

TIME:11-15 2022

Before the fiber laser cutting machine cuts, the operator must import the drawings into the program. The typesetting software supplied with the device then arranges the graphics on a board. In this way, the system can cut in batches according to the drawing. DXTECH will briefly explain to you today what needs to be considered when setting up the fiber laser cutting machine.

1. Spacing of parts

Normally, when the fiber laser cutting machine steel cuts thick plates and hot plates, the distance between parts should be large. Because the heating effect of the thick plate and the heating plate is relatively large. When cutting corners, sharp corners and small graphics, edges are easy to burn. This can easily affect the cutting quality.

2. Corner Melting

If the machine slows down to cut corners, the laser will overheat and melt the corners. The operator should create small radii around corners to allow the tool to cut at high speed. This avoids overheating and melting of the steel sheet when cutting corners, reducing cutting time and increasing productivity.

3. Collision of parts

To maximize cutting machine productivity, many laser cutting machines run 24 hours continuously. Unattended, the danger is greater. If the part is lifted after cutting, the cutting head can hit the part and cause serious damage to the equipment. To prevent this, operators must keep the following three points in mind when sorting:

(1)Choose a better cutting route to reduce the cutting time.

(2)Automatically or manually combine multiple small parts with tiny joints. After cutting, the removed parts can easily break the tiny connections.

(3) Choose the appropriate cutting path and bypass the already cut parts to avoid collision.

4. Lead setting

When cutting thick sheet metal, the operator often draws a transition line at the beginning and end of the cut. This is to make the kerf good and avoid burns at the beginning and end. These two lines are called the lead and tail, respectively. Leads and tails are useless to the workpiece itself, so they should be placed outside the perimeter of the workpiece. At the same time, the staff should also be careful not to place the pipes in places where the heat can be poorly dissipated, such as. B. sharp corners.

5. Common edge trimming

The operator can combine graphs with common edges into an overall composition. In this way, edges that would otherwise have to be cut twice now only have to be cut once. Edge trimming together can greatly reduce the cutting path and reduce cutting time. After multiple pieces become a combination, there is no reserved space between pieces. Therefore, this process saves raw materials.

6. Handling of Surplus Materials

After the fiber laser cutting machine 1000w cuts the parts, workers must remove the residual skeletal material as quickly as possible to facilitate subsequent cutting operations. Some laser cutting systems do not have an automatic unloading device. With them, the operator can remove the residual material by cutting it into small pieces. To avoid injury to the operator from heavy and sharp-edged residual material.
